Turn on the news and it seems like every week there is a new natural disaster some where in the world, with thousands of people caught unprepared Authorities are encouraging us to ensure that we are prepared in the event of a major emergency yet it is estimated that over 50% of households are not prepared for an emergency, and that percentage jumps even higher for their pets.
Mountain View Veterinary Hospital has created a free Pet Emergency Preparedness Checklist that you can download by clicking the button below. If you have any questions about the checklist, or special needs for your pets, talk to your Veterinarian.
Do you need information on getting your non fur-bearing family members prepared? Visit the Canadian Red Cross Disaster Preparedness site (kit purchase available) or the Government of Canada site for a free Emergency Preparedness Guide.
